The growth of tourism has been a result of cheaper travel flights, developments of roads and the internet which is used in promoting countries. All of these has impacted tourism which as led to a growth in local incomes in countries, especially like Nepal who depends heavily on tourism. Nepal has a lot of attraction that attracts tourist to come for holidays. Nepal is very small but beautiful country that shows a lot passionate towards their Cultural. It contains the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest and that is used as a major promotion of Nepal.
As a result of Nepal dependencies on tourism and its income. The government have spent a lot of money improving the countries warfare and living conditions. Especially in the capital city Kathmandu. This doesn't only attract more tourist but provides better-living conditions for the citizen of Nepal but as a consequence of the major investment in the cities and popular tourist destination of Nepal. The government have paid less attention towards the countryside and high mountains where there isn't much interest from tourist. This as resulted in one-half of the country having the best medical clinics and roads and the other part having no roads and barely in a medical clinic or food.
Tourism usually results in the damage of culture and traditional ways but not in Nepal. Culture is use as a promotion attraction for people to come to Nepal. In just 2014, Tourism to Nepal generated 487,500 jobs accounting for 3.5% of the total employment in Nepal. In 2015 the jobs generated from tourism whether that might be tour guides, shops, crafts, artwork accounted for 5% of Nepal employment. As the job created by tourism increases, the more, foreigners are spending their holidays in Nepal. In 2014, the country received 53.7 billion NPR from tourist exports. It is predicted that in 2025, the country could receive a total of 97.3 billion NPR.
The earthquake on April 25, 2015, that hit between Kathmandu and Pokhara caused massive damage. Not only to buildings, structures, homes but also towards the Nepal economy. Nepal is seen as an easy target for businessmen and bad people to target young and innocent children and deceive them. Being the 17th poorest country in the world, the women and children live in remote areas and a very poor. Usually, the are told false promises, especially with young girls. There are some whole are abducted from their villages and drugged and others who volunteer to go to support their entire family because of offered made by the human trafficker of well-paid jobs.
