Formation of the Himalayan
The Bhaktapur city founded in the 12th-century tour will give you the chance to experience the beauty of Nepal in their culture, living heritage, indigenous lifestyles and festivals.
As a result of the earthquake in Nepal many historical temples and buildings as well as homes have been destroyed. Earthquakes are not rare in Nepal because of its position on the earth tectonic plates. Nepal is structured between the two Indian and the Eurasian tectonic plates. This plates are consistently moving and are being forced up against and under each other at the rate of 5cm each year.
The Himalayan mountain range, the largest mountain range in the world was formed by the collins between the Indian plate and Eurasian plate that started around 50 years ago. The highest point of the Himalyan mountain range is Mount Everest at an elevation 8,848 meters.
Bhimsen Temple
Bhimsen Temple was built in 1680 by the Srinivasa Malla. It is known as a world heritage sites that contains a lot of historical, cultural and religious beauty and knowledge.
The main statue that is worshiped in the temple is the Bhim. Bhim is worshiped as a god of business and trade among the common people and it is seen as a very strong and brave god.
Patan Durbar Square is one of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valleys. The Patan Durbar square contains ancient royal palaces as well as idols and temples for worship.
